My name is Sophie, and I’m the co-founder of Shopie & Chlo with my friend Chloe. Let me tell you how it all began.

I spent several years working at Harrods, surrounded by the biggest names in fashion. It was fascinating to see such beautiful bags, but I often saw women like us struggling to find the perfect one—stylish, functional, and affordable. Most left empty-handed, and that stuck with me.

Chloe, an Australian expat I met at Harrods, had the same issue. Fresh out of digital marketing studies, she was freelancing for different brands but couldn’t find a bag that was both beautiful and practical. We clicked instantly and one day asked ourselves, “Why not create our own bags?”
